Lyrics

IT’S BY GRACE

I Do Believe

I do believe in heaven on earth
I do believe in heaven on earth
And I believe Jesus gave me a brand new birth
Oh, I believe in heaven on earth

I do believe you've got to be born again
I do believe you've got to be born again
And I believe Jesus wants you to open up and let Him in
Oh, I believe You've got to be born again

I do believe He can save your soul
I do believe He can save your soul
And I believe Jesus can wash you and make you whole
Oh, I believe He can save your soul

I do believe I've got Jesus in my heart
I do believe I've got Jesus in my heart
And I believe Jesus gave me a brand new heart
Oh, I believe I've got Jesus in my heart

I do believe in heaven on earth
I do believe in heaven on earth
And I believe Jesus gave me a brand new birth
Oh, I believe in heaven on earth

It's By Grace

It's by grace I am saved
It's through faith and not by anything I've done
It's Your love that has bought me
And by your grace you sent your only son
And sometimes Lord I know
That I'm so unworthy
Of all of the love that You've shown to me
Why would you do it
O Lord why go through it for me

It's by grace I am saved
It's through faith and not by anything I've done
It was you who stood by me
When everyone had left me on my own
And sometimes Lord I know
That I don't deserve it
All of these riches at Christ's expense
O God I don't really know why but I'm so glad You did

Your love it surrounds me and God it astounds me
I know you're there
No matter when I falter or how many times I fall Lord
I know you care
And sometimes Lord I know
That I don't understand it
Why You would do this for sinners like us
God why you gave your own Son
To die on the cross

It's by grace I am saved
It's through faith and not by anything I've done
It's by grace I am saved
It's through faith and not by anything I've done
It's by grace I am saved
It's through faith I am saved
It's by grace I am saved

Christmas Song

Prophets foretold long ago that a Child would be born
He would be God's only Son
He would be a king that would rise up to lead all His people
From their bondage in sin
Into new life again
Here He lay now in a lowly manger
Jesus never had a place to lay His head
He was despised and rejected of men

There was a star that was hanging so gloriously in space
Led the wise men to the place
Where shepherds adored Him and there they before Him did stand
This God become a man

He was the promise of all the ages
God's messiah come to take our sins away
Traded His crown for a cross on which His life
He freely gave

And I will sing hallelujah to the baby who's born
On that glorious night in a poor lowly stable
As the angels did sing
Of a baby born in Bethlehem
God's holy King
A Son who would reign
Forever and ever and ever

Repeat

My House

My House is built
On nothing less than Jesus
I wouldn't let it rest on shifting sand
And when the rains come down
And the wind blows against it
I know that in my house
I'll safely stand

For I believe that He is able to keep everything I have committed
Unto Him against that day
I didn't put my treasures on Earth they're in heaven
I put 'em there where no one can get 'em
And if you think I'm foolish
Here's what I'll say

CHORUS

Jesus is the Son Of God, He is my Savior, He's Immanuel
The Way, the Truth, the Life
I will follow wherever He leads me
And I will go wherever He sends me
He's the only way, can't live without Him 'cause

CHORUS

It Should Have Been Me

Did he cry as he stood and carved on the wood
Upon which Christ would die
Did he gaze very long on the work that his hands had done
And was he satisfied
Did he care that the splinters
Would tear at His flesh as He hung on the mountain side
as He picked Himself up to take His last breath
And His sin scared body died

Was a rough piece of wood wasn't carved very good
That He placed on His back that day
But He never said a word and He carried it as far as He could
Then He fell beneath the weight
And as they nailed Him down
They all stood in wonder at the words my Jesus prayed
And with every drop of blood
The price of my sin was paid

Well the road was long and His strength was gone
As He stumbled through the crowd
And His feet were torn and the bloody thorns
Dug deeper into His brow
And no one saw the tears that He shed fall slowly to the ground
But no greater love than this has ever been found

You see it should have been me
It should have been me
Jesus took my place on Calvary
For I made the nails and the crown
And carved the cross on which He died
And it should have been me
It should have been me

Sonrise

The sun rose on that glorious morning
Bathed the tomb in it's golden rays
Where once there stood death's mighty fortress
Now there stands just an empty grave

Once it held a mighty warrior
A soldier who in battle died
Gave His life for all completely
When sin's cold sword did pierce His side

No guns or swords, no armies did He need
Alone He fought and won the final victory
As love it paid the price of Calvary
And with His blood Jesus set all mankind free

And when He died, the soldiers were watching
Though the sun it refused to shine
Clothed in darkness and bitter agony
Jesus laid down His head and died

And if you want to know this Jesus
Then lay your burdens at the cross He bore
Lift your eyes to Him in heaven
Where He will reign forevermore

The sun rose on that glorious morning
Bathed the tomb in it's golden rays
Where once there stood death's mighty fortress
Now there stands just an empty grave

Dawning of a New Day

Jesus walked this earth a short two thousand years ago
And the people followed Him not knowing
Who He really was or where He would go
They wanted just to see the miracles He was showing

Jesus fed the hungry with His words and loaves of bread
And He cared when they were crying
And for this they hung Him on a cross 'till He was dead
And they thought it was over with His dying

But Mary went to see Him one last time on Sunday Morn'
And she found the stone was rolled away and He was gone
And she thought that they had stolen the body away
But Mary saw the dawning of a new day

Ain’t That Enough

Jesus met the woman at the well
Now she's got a story to tell
And she ran into the town
Told 'em all come see what I found
Oh, a man He told me everything I've done
If you believe in a Messiah He's the one

A blind man came to Jesus
Said "Oh Lord have mercy on me.
I've been blind since the day I was born
And now I want to see."
Then Jesus touched his eyes and the blind man saw
Then He went away and told them all

CHORUS

Ain't that enough to make you shout “Hallelujah" o ya
Ain't that enough to make you say Amen
Ain't that enough to make you shout “Hallelujah" o ya
Ain't that enough to make you say it again

Well, all of them there were in the boat
Tryin' hard to row it
When they looked upon the night
And the waves grew high
Then they all saw Jesus walking on the water
And they heard Him say "fear not, for it is I"

CHORUS

Then they took my Jesus
And they nailed Him on a tree
And they pierced His hands and His feet
And there He died for me
Mary went to the tomb early in the morning
When she got there she couldn't believe her eyes
The stone was rolled away and she heard the angels say
"Mary, don't look here 'cause He's alive"

CHORUS

Clay Vessels

Praise the Lord
All of ye people, all of His children
Bow down before Him
Lift up your voices
And praise the Lord
Alleluia, Alleluia Amen
Amen, Alleluia Amen

We are the clay and God is the potter
Molding us making us with His hands
We are the vessels empty of water
God fills us over and over again, again
Alleluia Amen,

We are the field and God is the sower
Planting the seeds and making them grow
He is the vine and we are the branches
He gives us everything we need to know, we know
Alleluia Amen, Amen, Alleluia Amen

Chorus

We are the song and God is the singer
We are the words and God is the rhyme
We are the tune and God is the singer
Yielded instruments in His hands, His hands
Alleluia Amen Amen
Alleluia Amen Amen
Alleluia Amen Amen
Alleluia Amen Amen
Alleluia Amen

Chorus
