Lyrics

In Remembrance

JESUS IN ME

Here I am again, all of my hopes and dreams
So many questions, so many fears
So many times, Lord
I've come to You to wipe away the tears
I gave my life to serve You, Lord, each and every day
My one desire is to follow You
Open up my heart and let all of Your love shine through

But just when I think that I've finally got it
Lord, I stumble and fall
You're always there and You gently remind me
It's not me at all

It's Jesus and me and everyday I'm changing
Making me over in every way
I don't know how to explain it all
Oh, but I know that You love me
And I know that You came to stay

I want to believe all the promises You gave me
I really want to see them all come true
Let the world see less of me and more of You
But I look in the mirror and I'm so amazed
That there's still so much of me
I can't help but wonder if I'll ever know
What it is to be truly free

God I know You hear me
And all the things I say
Help me know the answers more each and every day
Heal my blindness and help me to see
More of the world through Your eyes
Take away all of the chains that still bind me
Let me see more of Your life

With Jesus and me and everyday I'm changing
Making me over in every way
I don't know how to explain it all
Oh, but I know that You love me
And I know that You came to stay

Holy Spirit come and fill me
Make me what I ought to be
Help me know Lord how to surrender
Help me know more of this life You've promised me

With Jesus and me and everyday I'm changing
Making me over in every way
I don't know how to explain it all
Oh, but I know that You love me
And I know that You came to stay
In me and everyday I'm changing
Making me over In every way

Who Has the Answer

When the night seems so dark
And you can't find the light
I know who has the answer
When everything's wrong
He can make it all right
I know who has the answer
He hears you cry and He wants to comfort you
And with His love He'll wipe away your tears
I know because He took my place
Upon the cross and by His grace I have found
New Life in Jesus

When your life seems confused
And you feel so abused
I know who has the answer
When the pain in your heart
Is tearing you apart
I know who has the answer
He loves you more than you've ever thought possible
And with His love He'll wipe away your pain
I know because He took my place
Upon the cross and by His grace I have found
New Life in Jesus Christ

Well He knows all of the pain that you're feeling
He knows every tear you cry
He can bring joy when there's nothing but sorrow
And make your tomorrows bright

When your dreams are shattered and broken
I know who has the answer
When you lose your way
And there's no one to guide you
I know who has the answer
He will be there, just as He promised
No, He'll never leave you
No, He'll never go away
I know because He took my place
Upon the cross and by His grace
I have found
New Life in Jesus Christ
New Life in Jesus Christ
New Life in Jesus Christ

Peter Walked On The Water

Did you ever hear the story
Talking all about Peter
And how he walked on the water late one night
When he saw the Lord come
Come walking on stormy waves
And when He saw the Lord he nearly died of fright

But when he knew it was Jesus
He said, Lord, bid me come to Thee
I want to walk upon the water just like You
And the Lord said come on Peter
Go ahead and take a step out of the boat
You can walk upon the water believe Me it's true

Peter walked on the water
Peter walked on the stormy sea
And he didn't let all of this world's fears hold him down
Peter didn't need that leaky boat
No, his faith kept him afloat
Peter walked on the water like walking on solid ground

Well, there's more to this story
'Cause Peter's a lot like you and me
When he kept his eyes on Jesus it was fine
But he saw the stormy waves
And the wind was oh so high
He took his eyes off of Jesus and nearly drowned
Then he cried, Lord, save me!
And Jesus came and set him back in the boat
Said, Peter, oh Peter, why did you doubt?
I'm never gonna leave you
I'll always be right by your side
So the storms of life can never pull you down

Peter walked on the water
Peter walked on the stormy sea
And he didn't let all of this world's fears hold him down
Peter didn't need that leaky boat
No, his faith kept him afloat
Peter walked on the water like walking on solid ground

Peter walked on the water
Peter walked on the stormy sea
And he didn't let all of this world's fears hold him down
Peter didn't need that leaky boat
No, his faith kept him afloat
Peter walked on the water like walking on solid ground
Peter walked on the water like walking on solid ground
Peter walked on the water like walking on solid ground

A Mother's Song

I remember
All the tears she shed
In a room so full of sorrow
Knowing it was true
But just not wanting to believe
Wishing it was just a dream
And wanting to wake up

And a mother,
With a heart so full Of the pain of wanting
To hold her little child
And wipe away all of the pain
Knowing it was all in vain
Death seems so final

Oh, I remember very well
The story only a mother's love can tell
How she cried in agony
Saying, "God, please let it be me.
I'd give my life for hers right now.
God, I know You can
Give her life back again.
God, You can do anything"

And the memories
Haunted every room her thoughts could wander
Seeking to ease the pain of wanting
To see her face once more
But death had closed the door
It seemed so empty

But what this veil of flesh conceals
Only the power of faith reveals
Though it seems to us it's done
For You, Lord, it's just begun
Through eyes of faith You let us see
And God I know You can
Give us all Life again
God, You can do anything

I remember

Lord Take Me

I am a servant of a glorious king
My life was bought at a high price
I serve Him willingly bound by nothing but love
Knowing I owe Him my life

I once served a master who paid me with death
A slave though I thought I was free
Deceived I believed all his meaningless lies
Sin had blinded me

But Jesus found me broke the chains that bound me
Loosed my heart set me free
To know the matchless grace He offered
And the love that has captured me

Now every day is a new creation
Every moment another chance
To serve my redeemer with all of my heart
Place my life in His hands

Lord, take me Lord, break my heart
Leave me wanting only You
Lord, make me a man of Your will
Oh Lord, show me more of You

Then there's the moments of deafening silence
When God seems so far away
Prayers fall on the ground all around me
I wonder, can He hear what I say?
Is this because I have chosen to wander?
I'm only reaping the fruit of my choice
My heart's so empty and heavy and cold
My one desire is to hear Your voice

'Cause I know You love me I'll put You above me
Lord, please let me feel Your hand
Mold me and make me and bend me and break me
My life is Yours to command

Who Has Ears To Hear

Two men walk along a dusty road they’d walked before
Heads were bowed in quiet contemplation
But the silence was broken by words left unspoken
And the questions are still ringing in their ears

Thinking of a lifetime they had spent in chasing dreams
Driven by some long forgotten vision
But the dreams they were shattered
Broken and battered and all of their passions now denied

There is so much more that they can never know
How could they be so far and yet so near
There is so much more that they don’t understand
They don’t have the ears to hear

Our lives are just a moment in the web of time and space
We live it out by passion or by reason
With glimpses of glory we write out the story
And justify the means by the ends

Where is the method in the madness
Where are the words that make it rhyme
Who can see beyond this sadness
Why must we go on so blind
Chorus
There is so much more that I can say to you
There’s so much more I really want to share
There is so much more that I can tell to you
Do you have the ears to hear?

We are all just travelers upon this dusty road
In a journey that will take us to forever
What we choose to believe what we deny what we receive
Is the only power man will ever know

Chorus

Calm The Storm

Lonely, I’m lonely
Weary, nowhere to go
I’m lonely, lonely
I’m lost

Weary and tired
Lord, do you really understand?
Were You ever lonely?
Lonely?
When You were a man?

With Your hands they say You moved the mountains
With Your voice You calmed the sea
Well if You can really move the mountains
Then calm this storm within me
Deep within me

His body was so weary
As He walked the road up Calvary that morning
And the cross was, oh, so heavy
That He could not carry it alone
And the voices all around Him
They laughed and they jeered and they cried
As the darkness fell around Him
As He was crucified
But, there in the midst of the darkness
A voice said so tenderly
Remember me!
Remember me!

With Your hands they say You moved the mountains
With Your voice You calmed the sea
Well if You can really move the mountains
Then calm this storm within me
Deep within me

Manna From Heaven

Well it's come the time to take a good long look at where we are
Standing in this wilderness alone
Knowing God has freed us from the bondage of our past
He's chosen us to be His very own
Before us stands a promised land
That's rich beyond our dreams
We can't begin to comprehend it's beauty
All we have to do now is trust Him and believe
He knows our fear but He's made it clear

CHORUS
We've got everything we need
We've got Manna from heaven
And He satisfies our thirsting with the water from the rock
And He leads us to the promised land behind the clouds of Glory
Knowing He's living in my heart

We've seen Him do so many things we've never seen before
But there's still a few who say we should turn back
They would settle for so little when He's offered so much more
They're possessed by all the worldly things they lack

Knowing God has promised that He's working for our good
He didn’t bring us out here just to leave us
If we're hungry now, it's not because He didn't give us food
Our faith will grow as we come to know

CHORUS

From slavery and bondage He's shown us the way
All we have to do now is just follow
And leave behind the empty schemes
Of a world that's gone astray
There's so much more

So it's come the time to take a good long look
At where we are
Aliens and strangers on this earth
Hated and rejected by a world we left behind
Another kingdom now is ours by birth

Believing that our treasures are just on the other side
We know there's nothing this world has to offer
All we have to do now is trust Him and abide
He'll bring us home
We're not alone

CHORUS

In Remembrance

And the blood ran down
As the nails were driven deeper in His hands
No one standing there could understand
Suspended there in space
The blood running down His face
No one saw the battle that was silently raging
Only God could see the cost
Of what was gained and what was lost
Jesus paid the debt I couldn't pay

And the darkness fell
As Jesus hung there slowly dying
And Mary His mother stood there softly crying
His body was broken and torn
By the sin that He had born
This Lamb of God who took the sins of the world
And I've heard that Jesus cried,
"It is finished," and then He died
He paid the debt you and I owed

And the blood ran down
On the face of Jesus as He hung there limply
And the body which was battered and torn
Now was empty
And as they lifted Him from the cross
All they could see was what they'd lost
But Jesus rose again the third day
To proclaim the victory won
The battle over and done
All that matters now is which side you're on
All that matters now is which side you're on

I'm So Glad

Some people think I'm crazy
And others think I'm just a fool
Some people think I'm wasting my time
Believing in You
Well some people don't believe it
And others just don't seem to care
But Lord there's a few who are searching for you
And they just want to know you're there

And I can't help but remember
That there was a time
I did not know You cared

Well some people go their own way
Trying to live their lives on their own
And some people just wander through life all alone
And some people are searching
But they're looking in all the wrong places
Hoping to find some meaning in life
But they can't seem to make it all rhyme

And I can hardly imagine
Trying to live my life without you now
"Cause there's so many changes
And so many lies
So many things that I don't understand
And there's so much despair
So few people who care
And so little real love to be found

Open Your heart what's the point of waiting
Jesus has paid for it all
Open your heart
Oh, why are you waiting
Open your heart and let Jesus come in it right now

I'm so glad I let Him in my heart!

I’m so glad I let Him in ~ Alleluia!
